"I want you to know that our reception from its beginning on Saturday to the Sunday morning breakfast was exceptional. The table settings, the food, and the staff who worked were outstanding!! I don't know who trained your staff, but I had one friend (who lives in a small town in Illinois) comment that you must have shipped them in from a larger city or have a top-rated Maitre d' who trained them well!!! We had a blast! We received nothing but rave reviews about the hotel, the staff, the food, the location. Everyone could not have been more pleased. The room looked beautiful and was set up just right. I don’t know how you hire your employees, but keep it up. They were delightful, helpful, at our beck and call. The one young man even danced with a few of us. He obviously enjoys what he does and makes it fun for the guests as well as himself.
The food stations were a big success and they loved the food. The reception in the foyer worked so well, and everyone mingled very nicely. Taking the class picture on the staircase was a feat in itself, but you can tell the building engineer that we had about 80 classmates on there, and even sang the Lancer fight song, and it held up very well. The brunch worked very well, and we enjoyed the waitress so much. What a delight.
The class wants us to do one for our 45th and they want it at the same place with you all.
